Faculty of Administrative Sciences

The Faculty began with two departments within the Faculty of Sharia, Economics and Public Administration, which were established in the year 1991. In 1999 they were separated from the Faculty of Sharia to constitute the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Since then, the Faculty has comprised four departments after the addition of the departments of Accounting and Information Systems. In accordance to the Senate resolution and the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the name ‘Faculty of Economics and administrative Sciences’ has been changed to ‘Faculty of Administrative Sciences’. Admission has been processed under this name since the academic year 2011-2012 AD. The faculty now comprises the departments of: Public administration, Accounting, and Information Systems.
