Center for Jurisprudential Research & Ifta

The U of HQIS established the Fatwa and Research committee in 1996 under the chairmanship of honorable scholar Sheikh Muhammad Ali Al-Tireifi (may Allah have mercy on him) and Sheikh Hassan Ahmad Hamid (may Allah have mercy on him) with membership of a number of scholars who chaired the committee. In 2012 administrative decision No 18 was issued on promoting the unit to Center for Jurisprudential Research & Ifta

The Center is a specialist scientific body in the field of jurisprudential research and Ifta under supervision of the Deanship of Scientific Research Authorship & Publication. It endeavors to achieve the University’s objectives and the development of intellectual and scientific movement of the nation.
