Under the University Act, 1995, the center was established by resolution No. 33-2006 AD issued by the Vice Chancellor on the 1st of Ramadan 1427 H corresponding to 24th September 2006 AD.
The center aims at developing and implementing methodological programs on professional development and sustainable quality improvement for all the university employees (teaching staff, officials and laborers). It also aims at qualifying and training the employees on the effective use of modern technologies in quality assurance processes. The Center’s responsibilities also include conducting research and studies, organizing seminars, symposia, and workshops for developing and improving staff performance. Moreover, the center’s role is not confined to the university alone but extends to offer its services to all public and private and institutions in the country.
