Prof. Ahmed Said Salman, Vice Chancellor of the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences, will participate in the Egyptian- Sudanese Universities Forum, which will be held at Cairo University from 19 to 20 January.
Prof. Salman stressed that the forum aims at enhancing scientific cooperation between the university and Egyptian universities and the possibility of signing joint agreements between the two parties in educational fields. He pointed out that the university has prepared an exhibition which includes the university prospectus that features its vision, mission, faculties and branches inside and outside Sudan besides it scientific cooperation, research centers and role in serving the community.
Prof Salman has also affirmed the depth of the historical relations between Sudan and Egypt, especially in higher education and scientific research.
It is worth mentioning that the idea of organizing this forum has emerged at the meeting held in Cairo between by the Sudanese Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Asadiq Al-Hadi Abd-Arahman Al-Mahdi and the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education in the presence of the Ambassador of Sudan in Cairo and the Sudanese Cultural Attaché in the framework of promoting higher education and scientific research through joint programs.
