Arabic Language

- To enable students to study Arabic language and its different branches in area of specialization.

- Authentication of the Arabic language curricula through studying texts in Ummahat Al-kutub (the greatest books) of language and literature.

- To develop academically competent graduates with good established morals and behavior.

- To reinforce students’ motivation towards scientific research at the different levels of specialization.

- To develop theoretical and practical reading and writing skills in students.

In accordance with the statute of the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences 1990 AD, the faculty aims at achieving the following:

1. To authenticate Arabic language curricula through texts-based study on the greatest books of language and literature.
2. To qualify students through exposure to the greatest books of language and literature to serve as sources and references for courses.
3. To enable students to study Arabic language and its different branches in area of specialization through the various curricula and schools of language and syntax.
4. To establish motivation in students towards scientific research to be fully aware of research methodology and to provide training on research techniques.
5.  To develop and graduate academically qualified students who conforms to good behavior and morals.
6. To develop theoretical and practical reading and writing skills in students.
