The School of Languages was established as an extension of the Faculty of Languages and Translation (founded in Wau in 2003), and was later moved to be situated in Omdurman in the academic year 2007-2008. The name was then transferred to “the School of Languages” which was actually established in the academic year 2008-2009.
The School has two centers:
- The Male-Student Center is situated in the Male-Student Campus in Al Thawra-Omdurman.
- The Female-Student Center is located in the Female-Student Campus.
