To emphasize the nation identity and authenticate scientific research on community issues through Islamic intellectual fundamentals that take in issues of the time.

• To promote scientific research in graduate studies through implementing national plans,

   policies and university mission.

• To provide postgraduate qualification for specialists in scientific and technical fields for the U

   of HQIS academic staff members who are interested in receiving training inside and outside

   Sudan.

• To authenticate sciences and knowledge in accordance with Islamic perspective and    

   methodology.

• To improve development programs through master's, doctoral and diplomas theses.

• To find solutions for problems in the Sudanese present life.

• To direct scientific research in various fields to meet the country's current and future needs.  

• To promote cooperation and strengthen closer ties with scientific research institutions

   at local, regional and global levels.
